Itinerary
Day 1 : Cochin (Arrival) Sightseeing
Upon your arrival in Cochin airport, meet our tour representative, after welcome, proceed for smooth transfer to the hotel. Kochi is one of the most important city of Kerala which is also known as Cochin. Located on the south-west coast in Kerala which is also known as the Gateway to Kerala, situated on the Arabian Sea. Kochi is one of the most beautiful city of the state of Kerala.
Check in to the hotel. Take rest for a while. Post lunch, embark on a sightseeing tour of Cochin which includes visit to Dutch Palace Museum, St. Francis Church, Hill Palace Museum, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street and Chinese Fishing Nets. Stay overnight in Cochin.
Day 2 : Cochin - Munnar((By Road - 130kilometres)Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to Munnar. The town is located at the foothill of the Western Ghats mountain range, at the height of about 5,200 feet above from the sea level. It is situated on the meeting point of three mountain rivers which is Nallathanni, Kundala and Mudrapuzha. This stunning place was one used by Britishers as a summer resorts of South India. It also offers the exotic species of flora and fauna, which enhances the beauty of the town. Munnar is not popular as a hill resort, but it is also the centre of the Kerala’s tea growing district, aptly known as the high range. The valley is known as eucalyptus plantation, which fuel the many tea factories in the region.
On the way to Munnar, enjoy the panoramic views of the Cardamom Hills and green carpets of tea plantation. On arrival in Munnar, check into the hotel/resort. Rest day is free at leisure or you can explore the stunning surroundings. Stay overnight in Munnar.
Day 3 : Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Munnar which includes visit to Kundale Lake, It is located at the distance of about 20 kilometres away from Munnar which is an artificial lake, Shooting Point, Echo Point,It is located at the distance about 13 kilometres from Munnar. A beautiful lake is also situated here. The place is popular for the eco sounds, as you can clearly hear your loud voice within the area, then visit Mattupetty Dam, It is located at the distance of 13 kilometres away from Munnar. This 160 feet high dam has vast reservoir extending several kilometres into the hill. Cruising here is an amazing experience. It is offering occasional sightings of elephant, gaur as well as sambar’
Also explore EravikulamNational Park. Eravikulam National Park. A former hunting preserve of British planters this park today exemplifies wildlife conservation at its best. The main draw here is the NilgiriTahr, a highly endangered species of wild goat which was all put poached to extinction in 1950, before an NGO stepped in and ensured the habitat was delayered a sanctuary. The sanctuary is located at the height of about 7000 feet, will offers the stunning views of the surroundings. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Munnar - Thekkady ((By Road -120 Kilometres) Sightseeing
Post an early morning breakfast, leave by road towards Periyar National Park in Thekkady. In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and explore the large variety of wildlife species that inhabit this national park. After wildlife sightseeing, return back to the hotel for night stay.Thekkady is the small village located in the Idukki district in the state of Kerala. This place is renowned for largest and one of the oldest wildlife sanctuary ‘Periyar National Park’, which is the most popular tourist destination of Kerala. The sanctuary is surrounded with dense forest and grass lands. It is home of Indian tigers, elephants, lion tailed macaques, gaurs, deer, sambars apart from this 45 species of reptiles , 30 species of snakes, 13 lizard species. Thekkaddy offers a calm and soothing environment which makes it as a haven for nature and wildlife lovers. It is the place where you can understand the real essence of wildlife along with the refreshing climate to revive your mind and body.
In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Periyar Lake and explore the various wild animals that inhabit this national park. After wildlife sightseeing, return back to the hotel for night stay.
Day 5 : Thekkady - Alleppey((By Road - 139 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today, in the morning, head straight to Kottayam. Upon arrival, get on board the beautiful Post breakfast, proceed to Alleppey. Alappuzha also known as Alleppey. It is one of the oldest planned city of the Kerala, located about 75 kilometres away from Kochi and about 155 kilometres from Trivandrum. It is one of the popular tourist destination of India. It is famous for backwaters. There are at least six navigable canals in the town.
Upon arrival at Alleppey, check-in at the houseboat. The houseboat has well-equipped rooms with all modern comforts. Overnight at Alleppey.
Day 6 : Alleppey - Kovalam ((By Road - 159 Kilometres)Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, drive to Kovalam. Kovalam is arguably Kerala’s most popular tourist destination. It is one of the most beautiful beach town located at the shore of Arabian Sea. Three crescent shaped beaches separated by rocky headlands are the main attraction of Kovalam. The meaning of the Kovalam is a grove of coconut trees and as per the name this picturesque town along with the beaches are surrounded by coconut trees. Another enticing feature of the place are the Ayurveda centres cum resorts which can be found dotted around the beaches.
On reaching Kovalam check-in at the hotel. Rest for a while. Post lunch, move out to explore the picturesque Kovalam beaches. Here you can enjoy some water sports such as Surfing, boat ride, Motor boat ride and the herbal body toning massages. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 : Kovalam
Today after breakfast, meet the doctor, they will make the plan your program and a diet chart, enjoy the Ayurveda therapy including serval herbal massages, steam baths and yoga. Evening is free at leisure. Have dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 8 : Kovalam
After breakfast, proceed for Yoga and Meditation session. You are going to take an Ayurveda rejuvenation massage which will revive your mind, body and soul. The afternoon is free for leisure activities. Dinner and overnight stay at resort.
Day 9 : Kovalam
Post breakfast, spend your day at leisure and enjoy the Ayurvedic and spa treatments in Kovalam. Have dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 : Kovalam
After having your breakfast the rest day is booked for a Meditation and Yoga sessions. In the afternoon, enjoy an Ayurveda massage to revive your body and mind. Post lunch, leave for a city tour of Trivandrum. After visiting the Trivandrum return back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 11 : Kovalam
After breakfast, take an Ayurvedic massage and relax yourself with yoga and meditation as well. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening, you are going to visit Kalari. It is a popular traditional health and body care centre in Kerala. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 12 : Kovalam
Today, after breakfast, relax your body and mind while attending the Meditation and yoga session and then take an Ayurvedic massage.
Post lunch, proceed to visit KanyaKumari which is traditionally known as Cape Comorin. View the breath taking sunset here. Back to the resort in Kovalam for staying overnight.
Day 13 : Kovalam
After breakfast, relax your body and mind while attending the Meditation and yoga session and then take an Ayurvedic massage. Later, enjoy fun activities at the beaches. Enjoy a leisurely walk on the sandy beach. Stay overnight at the resort.
Day 14 : Kovalam - Trivandrum (By Road - 19 kilometres)Sightseeing
Today is the last day of the tour, after breakfast, proceed to the Trivandrum. On arrival at Trivandrum, check-in at your pre booked hotel. After freshen up, proceed for the major tourist attractions of Trivandrum include Padmanabha Swami Temple, Shri Chitra Art Gallery and the Museum. In the evening return to the hotel for dinner. After dinner proceed to the airport for boarding a flight to your onward destination.
